Tips: Designing web pages

• As we have seen, most likely there are users who wish to return to direct access to specific pages, so that should facilitate their inclusion in bookmarks, at least the header section and subsection

• Name of the Site should be repeated on every page for users who access without going through the Home Page. The recommended place is top / left or center, but not mandatory.

• The Logo or Brand Site is recommended but not required, if you have a smaller version in size and weight, it is advisable to use it to remember the brand image of the site, but above all, to set upon him a link to the Home Page.

• No need to include access to other languages at the level of internal pages, even in section headings. Just set it to the Home Page.

• You need a header page that indicates what type of content are (section / subsection). It is also necessary that all pages have their title in the header and this corresponds to the label of the referenced links.

• Install some type of navigation to access from inside pages to the rest of the structure of the site, in case they are accessed directly without going through the Home Page:

The most basic: a link to the Home Page.

Intermedia a small banner (text or graphics) with the main groups of options (sections of the site.)

Full: implementing on each page the navigation system that appears on the Home Page, for example through a navigation bar.

• It is a great mistake to force users to always enter the Home Page, which is usually done:To force users to display communications, campaigns, or content.Because the hit counter is mounted based on hits to the HomePage and, thus, it increases the number of users accessing the site and, therefore, the alleged success.

• Users must be granted entry to any level of content that might be interested. (A regular users interested only in a section of the site usually bother much have to make the complete navigation to the point they want).

Consejos: diseñando páginas web

• Como ya se ha visto, muy probablemente haya usuarios que deseen volver a acceder directamente a páginas concretas, por lo que se debería facilitar su inclusión en bookmarks, al menos las de cabecera de sección y subsección

• El Nombre del Site debe repetirse en todas las paginas para usuarios que acceden sin pasar por la Home Page. El lugar recomendado es superior / izquierda o centro, aunque no es mandatorio.

• El Logo o Marca del Site es recomendable, aunque no obligatorio, si se dispone de una versión reducida en tamaño y peso, es muy recomendable utilizarla para recordar la imágen de marca del site, pero sobre todo, para establecer sobre él un link a la Home Page.

• No es necesario incluir acceso a otros idiomas al nivel de páginas interiores, ni siquiera en cabeceras de sección. Basta con establecerlo en la Home Page.

• Es necesario una cabecera de página que indique en que tipo de contenido estamos (sección / subsección). Asímismo es necesario que todas las páginas tengan su Título en la cabecera y que este corresponda con la etiqueta de los links que la referencian.

• Hay que montar algún tipo de navegación para acceder desde paginas interiores al resto de la estructura del site, en previsión de que sean accedidas directamente sin pasar por la Home Page:

La más básica: un enlace a la Home Page.

Intermedia un pequeño banner (textual o gráfico) con los principales grupos de opciones (secciones del site).

Completa: implementando en cada página el sistema de navegación que aparece en la Home Page, por ejemplo mediante una Tabla de Navegación.

• Es un gran error forzar a los usuarios a entrar siempre por la Home Page, lo que normalmente se hace:

Para obligar a los usuarios a visualizar comunicaciones, campañas o contenidos.

Porque el contador de visitas está montado en base a los hits a la HomePage, y, de esta forma, se aumentan el número de usuario que accedieron al site y, por tanto, el supuesto éxito del mismo.

• A los usuarios hay que facilitarles la entrada a cualquier nivel de los contenidos que les pueda interesar. (A usuarios habituales interesados sólo en alguna sección del site suele molestarles mucho tener que efectuar la navegación completa hasta el punto que desean).
